Previously Julia Roberts held the record for the highest fee paid to an actress, when she was paid $24 million for her role in Mona Lisa Smile. Other top earning actresses are Cameron Diaz who was paid $20 million for Charlie's Angels Full Throttle, Nicole Kidman who earned $17.5 million to star in Bewitched, and the same again for The Interpreter and Jennifer Lopez who took home $15 million for her role in Monster in Law.
